As we welcome in the official start of Winter on December 21st, the solstice provides an opportunity to reflect on the what's come to pass and intentions to manifest growth as we move forward.
These 9 intentions begin on the outmost level of our existence and move to the innermost layer. As the light of the sun begins to slowly return we can welcome in the qualities of the light with a new perspective than ever before...
May mother earth in her glorious beauty continue to have patience with all her beings, teaching us how to live in harmony with nature.
May the collective consciousness on our planet move towards a higher frequency of love, compassion and understanding.
May the health of all living things on this earth be protected.
May the knowledge to heal be available to all.
May our family and friends be strong, healthy and vital.
May all beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering.
May you be resilient in difficult times.
May you be of sound mind and body.
May you discover your inner world and the source to all peace and joy.
This yearsWinter solstice also highlights the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. On December 21, 2020, the two planets will be just 0.1 degrees apart. This event has not happened in over 800 years! These two planets will appear in the sky as a double planetary star.
With a clear sky on 12/21, we may be able to observe it on the east coast at approximately 7pm in the south west part of the sky. Some refer to it as a "Christmas Star".
This is a significant event because of the energies these two planets bring forth.
Saturn is the energy of commitment, discipline and responsibility.
Jupiter is the planet of expansion, knowledge, philosophy and creativity.
These planetary energies actually complement one another – they remind us to seek balance and growth.
Although these planets affect everyone differently depending on your astrological sign, this is a perfect time to bring your attention on what you want to manifest in your life.
Here are some ways to cultivate these energies in your day to day life:
· Practice daily meditation.
· Create a discipline for your mind, body and spirit health.
· Visualize your vibrant health and that of all humanity.
· Look for signs and synchronicities to guide you in what you are here you do.
· Connect with your guides if you feel that presence.
· Cultivate love and support within yourself through regular practice.
· Through your inner work you then send that light out to the world.
We need a spiritual practice at this time with care to change the collective unconscious.
